"Joe has this sort of very male theory about giving...they live a pretty male-crazy life. I think that when the mother was alive, the house was very ordered and everything was very homely and very feminine around the place and it was a very nurturing atmosphere. And JoeŐs a bit of a guy and the house starts to fall apart a bit. But he has this theory about to just keep himself open to anything and feels that very often in families thereŐs a sort of pressure to do all the ordinary mundane things like go shopping for the food and all of that. And he tries to keep a looser atmosphere around the place and give his little boy the freedom to drop everything and do crazy things, but eventually it starts to sort of fall apart a bit reallyÉthat theory.Ó -Clive Owen
